About Swegon
Swegon are a trusted name in air conditioning, air handling and HVAC systems. Established over 50 years ago, the company is dedicated to creating comfortable and healthy indoor spaces and environments for living and working.
The project
Swegon had recently acquired a new build site that they wanted to put their own stamp on. They approached our team at Arc Business Interiors to help them transform the space into a premises that was reflective of their current and future goals as a business.
It was essential that Swegon’s new building accommodated both office and manufacturing spaces. From the empty shell, a cohesive working environment had to emerge where everyone could work, socialise and collaborate together to shape the future of the company.
A member of Arc had previously worked with Swegon’s project lead on a previous project. As such, the client was already familiar with the value, creativity and outstanding customer service that we bring to our work.
Our brief
We were initially tasked with fitting out the ground floor to CAT A specification and the rest of the building to CAT B specification. In the design phase, an opportunity arose to assist with a second building as well, which also needed to accommodate both office and manufacturing facilities.
Designing defined spaces with unique requirements is our specialism, and so the project was firmly in our wheelhouse.
In every project we take on, we ensure that our client’s every specification is reflected in both practical and innovative ways. We achieve this through fostering a close working relationship with the client, ensuring that the project is an ongoing conversation from start to finish.
What we did
The project statistics
Headed up by project designer, Vicky Harrison, this project was worth £1.1 million and was designed to cater for over 100 employees.
The handover
Swegon were very pleased with the final result. The new spaces delivered on all their criteria, were tailored to the company’s functional needs, and effectively conveyed their brand personality. The new build allowed Swegon to fulfil their current business requirements, while also supporting a spirit of collaboration and innovation to advance the company even further.
This project was so successful that Swegon approached us again to complete a site for them in Ashby which we gladly accepted.
